Meet Our Founder: Paula Tromp
Paula Tromp, a native of Manatee County, Florida, has always been deeply connected to her community and passionate about wellness. A retired emergency and critical care veterinary technician, Paula left veterinary medicine in 2018 to follow her passion for healthy living. She dedicated herself to developing vegan, gluten-free, and CBD-infused recipes that promote nourishment without compromise.
Shortly after embarking on this journey, Paula founded Happy Soul, a business committed to providing plant-based, ethically crafted treats. Initially based in downtown Bradenton, Happy Soul flourished, and after three years, she returned the business to her hometown of Palmetto. Committed to her community’s growth and prosperity, Paula also serves as Secretary for Palmetto Downtown Main Street, where she actively contributes to the city’s ongoing development and vision for the future.
Her dedication to quality, sustainability, and mindful indulgence is the driving force behind Sophisti-Vegan, ensuring that every product aligns with her mission to provide luxury without compromise.
